ARRI have opened the doors to their new Mixed Reality Studio to welcome our members for a workshop providing further insight and experience about the space.  

When: November 4th, either at 10.00 – 12.00 or 14.00 – 16.00, 

Where: ARRI Studio London, Unit 2 Highbridge, Oxford Road, Middlesex UB8 1LX

Double Oscar-winning VFX Supervisor, Paul Franklin (Inception and Interstellar), will lead the workshops where he will show examples of his recent work and demonstrate how his sequences were shot. 

Joined by experts David Levy from ARRI and Tom Burford, Will Case and Nic Magg from Creative Technology, and set in one of the most significant LED volumes in Europe, members will explore how mixed reality production can bring a new level of creativity, freedom, and production efficiency to their projects.  

Members will also have the opportunity to discover the benefits and advantages of mixed reality production, whether it’s to extend the ‘magic hour’ or shooting car sequences, either for high-end feature films and dramas, documentaries or commercials.  

Working in various set-ups, you will get an insight into the workings and possibilities of mixed reality production and an opportunity to talk to the experts from ARRI & Creative Technology.

Parking is available on-site. 

As we’re sure you are aware, the events industry is still not at 100% capacity and therefore all in-person event, screening or Q&A session, may be produced for smaller numbers. We ask that you remain mindful of this and let us know of any cancellations so we may offer a place to someone else. 

We will continue to monitor government advice and COVID-19 measures will be in place for all in-person events.

This event is first-come, first-served and open to Full and Associate members. Spaces are limited to book early to avoid disappointment.
