BestGirlGripLive!—withRoxyRezvany:30%discountformembers
On Sunday, Underwire Festival will be hosting the first ever live recording of Best Girl Grip, in conversation with a special guest Roxy Rezvany — and Directors UK members can get 30% off tickets.
The Best Girl Grip podcast delves behind-the-scenes of the British film industry and profiles the women who work in it. Each episode, host Nicole Davis interviews a very special guest – from cinematographers and editors to talent executives and financiers – to discuss career paths, mentorship, motivation, imposter syndrome and what they love about the movies
Nicole Davis will be joined by trailblazer, filmmaker, Directors UK member and journalist Roxy Rezvany (who won Best Director at last year’s Underwire festival). Her short film Little Pyongyang was commissioned by the Guardian and Charlie Phillips, premiered at the Copenhagen Documentary Film Festival and was selected as one Sheffield Doc Fest’s Future Productions in 2017. She also worked on Ellen Page’s series Gaycation and has made films for the Tate as a producer and director respectively, and her work has been broadcast on BBC Three, Channel 4 and Vice.
This event is taking place on Sunday 22 September (5.00pm) at Rich Mix, London. To claim your discount, enter the code BEST30 at the checkout.
