AmIentitledtoacredit?
You need a clause in your contract stipulating what credit you will get. If there’s no such clause, insist on one.
The clause should contain provisions whereby you are entitled to a credit in prime position (either last in the opening sequence or first in a concluding credit sequence) and in the event that your contract is terminated before the project is completed, we recommend that you should still insist on a credit if you have filmed more than 25% of the programme or film. You should also try and negotiate the right to not have your name appear in the credits if you decide that you no longer want to be connected to the production, for example due to the producer insisting on edits you do not like.
